Spring Myths and Seasonal Tales Seasonal myths are explanatory tales that explain how the seasons came to be. We’ve covered many different tales like the ever popular Oak King and Holly King Tale. We also covered the Homeric “Hymn of Demeter” which lays out the story of Persephone’s descent (re: abduction) into the underworld.
